Oxitrate AS is a Norwegian company that was established in 2008. With 15 years of experience in the industry, we have gradually worked our way up to be the market leader in environmentally friendly water treatment.

We offer solutions for automated bacterial identification, with the goal of ensuring safe food production – primarily for the fishing industry. The company currently has eight employees and is well established with major fish suppliers in Norway, Scotland, Ireland and France.

Our story

Oxitrate AS was established in 1989 as Medis Pharmaceuticals AS, before adopting its current name in 2022. Tor Wauer, founder of Oxitrate AS, has worked actively for many years on the development of products and solutions that the industry needs. Oxitrate is constantly working to find solutions to the challenges facing its customers, with special emphasis on developing cost-effective and innovative solutions that focus on environmental concerns and meet current environmental requirements.
